Viburnum plicatum Maresii -
This viburnum is one of the most popular doublefile viburnum types and is common in the nursery business.
The Maresii produces large lace cap blooms above the foliage in Mid to late Spring. Maresii has a distinct layered branching habit.
The flat topped flowers are produced in Mid to late Spring and the flowers are showy but not fragrant. Fall color and berries are a nice full red.
This plant plays exceptionally well along a back border especially as they begin to bloom. The thick multi-tiered plants also create a nice privacy wall.
